Katherine Jenkins FINALLY responds to David Beckham's cruel honours comment: "Of course it was hurtful"

She was embroiled in a rather salacious scandal, earlier this year - through no fault of her own.
And now Katherine Jenkins has finally hit back at David Beckham over cruel comments that she didn't deserve to be recognised by the honours system.
Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine, the star - who used cocaine in her early 20s - said: "I'm a human being. Of course something like that would be hurtful."
She went on to add that the disgraced former footballer, 42, knows "nothing" about her.
"But at the same time I've learned that when you're famous sometimes you get dragged into things you shouldn't be involved in," she continued. "Sometimes people feel like they know you, but actually they know nothing about you."

Her comments come just weeks after hackers leaked Beckham's emails, in which he fumed: "Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F***ing joke."
The foul-mouthed emails - allegedly sent to his long term agent Simon Oliveira - appear to reveal Becks deep seated anger over not being made Sir David, branding the honours committee a "bunch of c**ts".
Representatives of the Welsh singer quickly provided Mirror Online with a fact sheet detailing why she received her honour in 2014.
"We are not issuing a statement – just providing a fact sheet as to why Katherine Jenkins received an OBE in the 2014 New Year's Honours List for services to music and charity in response to Beckham," a representative for the star said.
Katherine's reps also addressed the claims she took cocaine.

"With regards to the taking of coke which Katherine has courageously publicly admitted with great honesty - this was when she was in her early 20s still a student – over a decade before she was awarded her OBE and started her recording career," her rep said.
The statement lists "Katherine's services to charity prior to being awarded an OBE".
These include her visits to troops in active war zones including Iraq in 2005 and 2006, Afghanistan in 2007 and 2013, Cyprus in 2007 and 2009 and Kosovo in 2009.
In 2006 Katherine also became a trustee of the British Forces Foundation and is also a trustee of Care after Combat and an Ambassador of the 2016 Invictus Games.
