Wizkid, Davido and More Named as 15 Young Creatives Rebranding Africa
A host of young African creative talent were named as young creatives rebranding Africa, according to Forbes Magazine. Amongst them are Nigerian designer Amaka Osakwe and artists Wizkid and Davido.
Also on the list is fashion illustrator Papa Oppong, the 23-year-old fashion student at Ghana’s Radford University College in Accra who has worked on commissioned projects for cosmetics giant M.A.C. and Dutch wax fabric company Vlisco, Zimbabwean mixed media artist Kudzanai Chiurai, South African style stars Smarteez, 34-year-old French-Tunisian“calligraffiti” artist eL Seed, and Armando Cabral, the 33-year-old model from Guinea-Bissau star of Balmain’s latest fall/winter men’s campaign (alongside his brother Fernando), amongst others.
