CRD XR 1200
Back in 2008, Harley-Davidson launched the European-exclusive XR 1200, featuring a flat-track aesthetic and 91-horsepower engine. The vocal response occasioned a stateside release the following year, but surprisingly flat sales forced Harley to drop the XR 1200 for the 2013 model year. Its failure likely had something to do with its unwieldy looks, which have now been fixed by the design team at Café Racer Dreams. A main feature of the redesign is the aluminum tank, created by the Valtorón foundry, that flows smoothly into the one-piece leather seat. Additional details include Öhlins shocks, Remus PowerCone exhaust and a compact Ducati Monster headlight set into the forks. Check out detailed looks below.
