adidas Consortium Unveils Superstar Collaborations With Footpatrol and D-Mop
On the heels of the NEIGHBORHOOD and Union collaborations, adidas Consortium continues its 10th anniversary festivities with yet another joint-venture pack featuring the iconic Superstar silhouette. This time around, adidas teams up with London’s Footpatrol and Hong Kong’s D-Mop. The former goes for a premium tonal approach, using terracotta croc embossed leather on the upper with pig-skin suede three-stripes in the same hue. Embroidered Footpatrol branding, along with 2005 and 2015 on the heel tabs to denote the first and most recent collaborative projects, round out the details. The D-Mop edition goes with a more traditional aesthetic, using a white leather base accented with contrast red three-stripes edged in blue. The D-Mop logo is applied to the left heel, while the right is marked with the number 80, indicating the year of its founding. The kicks will release through Consortium retailers beginning February 14.
