THE $185,000 MIDUAL TYPE 1 MOTORCYCLE

The French motorcycle manufacturer bills the Midual Type 1 as a luxury bike, rather than a performance model, and it has the price tag to match. The Type 1 has a 1036 cc flat-twin, mated to a 6-speed transmission with a multi-plate clutch and an electric starter. The resulting power output is rated at 104 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque. Additional details include an aluminum monocoque frame, Öhlins suspension and Brembo monobloc brakes. The Midual Type 1 goes into production in 2016, with just 35 units scheduled to roll out of a factory in the French of Angers, carrying a bold $185,000 price tag and even bolder looks.
