Based on author Gillian Flynn’s 2012 thriller novel, Gone Girl enters on Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck), his wife Amy Elliott Dunne (Rosamund Pike) and their seemingly loving marriage. All was well till Amy went missing on the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary. Soon, with law enforcements and media descending upon the small town of North Carthage, Missouri, Nick’s narrative of love and trust unravels into a tale of lies, betrayal and ultimately murder, but with an unexpected result. Along with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, the film includes actors Neil Patrick Harris,Tyler Perry and GQ magazine cover girl Emily Ratajkowski, who will be making her first feature film debut. From New Regency Pictures and 20th Century Fox with director David Fincher at the helm, Gone Girl will be in theaters on October 3rd.
