G-Star RAW for the Oceans by Pharrell Williams – Fall/Winter 2014 Collection | Preview

Together with mascot Otto the Octopus, Pharrell Williams previewed the first few pieces from his new collection with G-Star RAW. First announced back in February of this year, the collaboration known as G-Star RAW for the Oceans, will be made entirely from a blended denim that features recycled plastic fiber from Pharrell’s Bionic Yarn label. In this very first effort to incorporate Bionic Yarn into a more “traditional” fabric, the company estimated some 10 tons of recycled plastic waste went from the ocean into items such as trench coats, t-shirts, jackets, caps, and more… Distinguishable from its Otto the Octopus logo, the G-Star RAW for the Oceans by Pharrell Williams will be available for both men and women in September 2014.
