SHAUN WHITE DEBUTS NEW SNOWBOARD HALFPIPE TRICK FOR 2014 WINTER OLYMPICS IN SOCHI
Looking to secure his third Olympic Gold for Men’s Halfpipe in Snowboarding, Shaun White just up the ante today with the debut of a new trick, the frontside double-cork 1440. With help from camera maker GoPro, which carved out a private halfpipe for White, the 27-year-old professional snowboarder was able to land after a series of twists and turns. Captured on a GoPro video simply titled “Shaun Flippin’ White”, White started off with a Double McTwist 1260 then added a 180 half twist with two head-over-heels flips. But the sequence goes by so fast, we suggest you play the video below in slow motion. Or you can watch White going for gold live in February at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
