Jack Stocker – The Minimal Sneaker Study Exhibition

An 18-year-old design student with two years of Graphic Design study at England’s Worthing College under his belt, has taken his love for retro Nike sneakers and transformed his passion into unique art pieces. Influenced by British artist Paul Huxley, Stocker uses a composite of elemental shapes — rectangles, circles and triangles — combined with three or four bold colors to create stylized versions of the Air Flow, Air Max 90 “Infrared,” Air Huarache and the like. As Stocker himself points out, the pre-2000s runners are “the most iconic released.” His Minimal Sneaker Study exhibition is currently displayed at London’s Exposure Gallery.
